Tracie, Just Tracie

Because I miss my friends who are now all over the country (and globe) I decided to follow the crowd and let you know what I am up to without overcrowding inboxes with mass emails (which no one likes anyway). This is nothing spectacular. It is just my thoughts on life and things I have been doing to keep myself busy and entertained.

Why Don't I Think First?? (Or... Typical Tracie Moves)

I went out with my NF on Friday and we went to see 'Surf's Up'. Honestly, I thought the movie looked like it was going to be really really dumb, but there were not any other options. Turned out, however, that the movie was really really good! We were laughing the whole way through. (There are also these animated baby penguins that are just too cute!

Throughout the entire movie my NF and I were holding hands. It was really sweet. Then at the end of the movie we ended up sitting there, in the same position, and watched the credits roll by. I finally said, "Do you think we should leave so they can clean up?" and he responded by saying, "As fas as I'm concerned the movie is still playing." Then he leaned in and looked deep into my eyes, then kissed me. It was seriously the best first kiss in the history of first kisses. Okay, at least in my history of first kisses. Then we left the theater and went home.

When he dropped me off at my house, he kissed me again. This time I told him he was a really good kisser!! He just laughed at me and thanked me.

I told Andrea about it and she just laughed at me and said, "Tracie. This is a perfect example of something you think and don't actually say out loud."

Speaking of Tracie Moments, today, Andrea and I went to visit an elderly woman we had visited around Easter. On our way into the city, we stopped at the SuperFresh to pick some stuff up for the woman. While in the checkout, I picked up a pack of Stride gum and told Andrea that it was the greatest gum ever made!

Well, we went down to Ms. Williams's house and she ended up being sick and couldn't take visitors. So, Andrea and I decided to go to South Street instead to grab a slice of Pizza at Lorenzo's. While standing outside eating our pizza Andrea pointed out that there was a Stride Van/Truck/Stretch SUV across the street. So, when we finished our pizza we decided to cross over to see what was going on. Well, they were giving out free T-Shirts! They even put a slogan of your choice on your shirt for you!

As the guy was putting my slogan on my shirt, I told him and a couple of other Stride people near him what I had said the Andrea in the grocery store. He laughed and said, "Can you say that exact same thing for our camera?" So I did. I always knew talking and living like a commercial would pay off one day!
