The Relapse Is Over!
Okay. I think it is over. I finally have energy to do things! It's crazy. For the last couple months I was so tired that even talking to people and being friendly was more than I could handle. Keep in mind that I head up the welcome team for Epic and with that am in charge of making people feel welcome. Well, talking to people and being friendly actually scared me! Isn't that nuts?
Well, all of this to tell you that I think my relapse was over on Sunday because when I got to Epic, I started talking to EVERYONE I saw and identified new people and started conversations with them and introduced them to people. Then when the greeters didn't show up, I even went to the doors to take over. It was pretty crazy for me to see and experience the difference.
Honestly, I think another part that made me so willing to talk to people was that I was in a really good mood. I met someone new! It's nothing official yet, but we talk everynight for several hours. He is just great. His name is Jon and he is a teacher and best of all, he loves Jesus and it is so evident in the way he approaches life. Like I said, it's nothing official yet because we are taking it slow, but things are off to a good start.
Wow. I didn't really intend to write that.
Anyway, I am still limping around, but not so badly that I need to have my cane with me. The big part is that I have energy to walk around everywhere I go. It's nice to be able to move without restrictions. Praise God! I am just really feeling great right now.
Well, I better get back to work.

Tracie, you are inspiring. Good to hear about all the positivity in your life, and Jon sounds like a nice name. The H makes all the difference.
