Tracie, Just Tracie

Because I miss my friends who are now all over the country (and globe) I decided to follow the crowd and let you know what I am up to without overcrowding inboxes with mass emails (which no one likes anyway). This is nothing spectacular. It is just my thoughts on life and things I have been doing to keep myself busy and entertained.

Adventure in Camden, NJ

So, today Lola, Brian and I went to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden. Let me say that is the coolest most awesome aquarium I have ever been too! I am so going back. I will probably even become a memember so I can go whenever I want to!

Not only did they have tons of great fish, but their exhibits were amazingly set up! Some looked like beach scenes, others looked like ship wrecks. There was even one part they called the "Jules Vern" exhibit that had everything look like you were looking through large submarine portholes!

Then there was a shark exhibit that you even got to walk under! I mean the sharks were swimming above you and around you! Unbelievablably cool!

To top it off, there was an outdoor exhibit that had penguins and seals. I tried talking one of the penguins into jumping into the water but he just inched closer to the edge and winked at me. He never went it. What a tease....

Oh! There were also tons of exhibits that allowed you to touch the animals! We got to pet sharks, sting rays, crabs, star fish, and even a cockroach! (It was a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach).

Okay. I have to tell you the BEST and most amazing part of the aquarium was the hippo exhibit. Yes. This aquarium had hippos! They were really cute. Names: Jenny and Button. (Aren't they cute names??)

At the end we, of course, went to the gift shop and I found a really cute hippo necklace that will become part of my daily attire.

In all, a very fun day but I'm glad it's over because I am worn out from my adventure and ready to sleep for a few days.
