Surprises
I did not see this coming. I thought for sure the Colts were going all the way this year. The Steelers just won the game against them! I cannot believe it; I never saw it coming.
I got nervous when the 3rd quarter started and the Steelers were ahead but then the Colts made a brilliant comeback and it really looked like they would at least tie the game.
I guess it was not meant to be. At least it's a good thing for Pennsylvania so I can hope for the Steelers to go all the way now. That will be great having PA in the Superbowl two years in a row.

Puh leeze Chris! I would so choose Eli over Peyton!
By the way, 99.7% of the football community was surpised at Pittsburgh's win! Only .3% of them saw it coming and I believe you were not included in that! You said you were only being hopeful of a Steelers victory.
But you make a valid point in that I should never underestimate what Pennsylvania is capable of doing.
My sister and I were just talking about the upsets this weekend had! The only game I correctly predicted was Seattle's win. I could not believe the others. Jamie had them all. You would also be happy to know that she, like you, bleeds black and gold.
I also have to admit that I was hoping for a Giants/Colts Superbowl but that was really only because I wanted the Manning Brothers to play eachother. I realize that is dumb but I am okay with that.

I was hoping Denver wouldn't win....I wouldn't mind seeing the Patriots in the Super Bowl....mainly because I think Tom Brady is hot. hehehe :)

The difference is all in semantics, my friend. If you had such a strong feeling or preminition your team would win, why was it not your prediction?Maybe you would like to clarify the difference for me?
And yes. If there is such thing as a 6'4" midget. I would choose him over his 6'6" brother. ;o)
I'm not saying I would choose either of them though. But, if I was choosing a team by the attractiveness of their QB I would have been behind the Steelers since last season.

Chris, fisrt of all, I am so sorry I ever underestimated your "hunches". I was clearly mistaken and very wrong. :)
Now, I would like to state that I do not dislike the Steelers nor have I ever (only when they are playing the Eagles and even I will admit to the Steelers being the better team). I also hope beyond hope they make it all the way to the Superbowl! They really deserve it because they have consistently been a great team. I just happen to like the Colts and really thought they had a better shot. I wasn't bandwagon hopping. I just like them. I was obviously mistaken in thinking they were a sure shot.
I also hope that the Steelers, when they get to the Superbowl this year, will win it. But I don't think I have to hope much because, being in the AFC they are automatically better than the oposing team.
I would also like to clear up our little "discussion" about Eli Manning. I do not have a thing for him! I was simply telling you that if I had to choose between the 2 brothers, I would rob the cradle and take Eli. He is cuter and has a better nose. (Peyton's commercial is very funny though. I still laugh at it even though I've seen it 728 times). There are other QB's the oggle like your pretty boy Ben. I bet he has never been called that before! But, Eli is pretty cute. Maybe it's the small shoulders. :O)
Jodie- I can tell you are not from a football state!

I just heard a report about what people are doing to try to get broncos tickets. Denver is going to be crazy, crazy, crazy if they get to the super bowl! :)
