Tracie, Just Tracie

Because I miss my friends who are now all over the country (and globe) I decided to follow the crowd and let you know what I am up to without overcrowding inboxes with mass emails (which no one likes anyway). This is nothing spectacular. It is just my thoughts on life and things I have been doing to keep myself busy and entertained.

Thinking of Something to Write

I have been very quiet lately, but I think that is mostly because I have not been able to think of anything spectacular to write about.

So, I decided to end the silence and just write. I am sure my life has not been that boring!

About 2 weeks ago, I went to pick up my Bride's Maid dress and get it altered. I had not seen it before, nor was I fitted for it. I gave Jamie my measurements and she gave them to the seamstess and you know what? The dress fit PERFECTLY! I just need the hem shortened, but that is pretty standard.

Jamie did a great job picking it out too! It's a chocolate brown 2 piece. The skirt is floor length and and A-Line (YES!) and the top is strapless and is kind of gathered to the one side. It's very flattering. I tried it on and Jamie's future sister-in-law tried it on. I'm curvy (and a size 12) and Karen is a stick (and a size 2) and it looked great on both of us. I am excited about it.

Later that day Jamie and I went to David's Bridal and picked out some dyeable shoes. I went with 2 inch heals because I didn't want to be too much shorter than Jamie in the pictures. Believe it or not, I rarely wear heals anymore because I have a terrible time balancing myself... and because my neurologist told me that he better not catch me trying to wear them anymore. My shoe collection now is a VERY wide assortment of New Balance, Nike and Reebok.

This weekend I organized a trip to a Phillies game with EPIC. That was a lot of fun, though I was very disappointed that the regular attenders did not reach out to the new people. I pretty much took that role by myself and it made me feel horrible for the newer people! This is something that I am definitely going to address with my hospitality team. We can't have that.

Today I am at work. My assignment ended at the Pharma company about a month ago. So, now I am working at the home office recruiting recruiters in various parts of the country. If you ever get a random email from me looking for a way to network in a certain area of the country, that is what that is about. So, help me out!

Wow. This is really boring. I better quit while I am ahead!
