More of My Creations

This is a card I made for a girl in my life group who recently became engaged.
I was kind of proud of it and wanted to show you guys.
Distressing the paper is my favorite technique! I use it as often as possible. On this card, I used the distressing techinque around the pink paper that has the words on it.
Tonight, I made some Pirates of the Caribbean vouchers to give to my mom for Mother's Day. For those, I distressed the entire voucher and used an alphabet stamp set that looks like script writing so that it looks almost like a pirate's treasure map. Then I used a type face font to print my mom's name on one voucher and my name and each of my sisters' names on the other three. They turned out cute but not good enough for me to post a picture of them.
Anyway, I really liked how this card turned out and wanted to share it with you. By the way, if any of you are interested in the Close to My Heart products, let me know and I can send you a catalog! Their products are great and I swear by them! They sell both scapbooking and stamping products. This paper set was one of their promotional products for the month of May but it was so popular (and still is) that I am sure a similar paper pack will be made available in the fall catalog.

Okay, the picture is kind of big and threw off my formatting. I guess I'll need to resize it when I am at a better computer.
