Cats

I decided I really like cats now. The cats with whom I share a living environment have helped me in the realization. Yes. I have always liked cats, take, for example, the cats living in the basement of Barnes House. It's jut recently I realized that I really like the cats that live in my apartment. I love that Indio insists on sleeping in my bed at all times and I have gotten used to racing Spike into the bathroom everyday. I also like seeing Mya socializing with the boys each evening.

On Tuesday night, Kate and I were watching TV. I was sitting in an arm chair and contemplated moving over to the couch so I could see better. As I was pondering my move Indio stood in front of me and kept "talking". Knowing he usually does this when he wants to be held but likes permission before jumping onto someone's lap I called him up. It did not work. So, I finally decided to move to the couch and as soon as I did the silly thing took my seat! He did not want to be held! He wanted my chair!
