My Sweet Lord
This afternoon Shaun told me a story about an argument he and his girlfriend were having. I found it very humorous and thought I'd share.
George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" was playing at the restraunt. For one reason or another the lyrics and title came into question. Shaun, accurately said the lyrics and title were "My Sweet Lord" but his girlfriend insisted he was wrong and that it was actually "My Sweet Love".
To make it even worse, there were 3 additional people at the table with them and they ALL agreed with the girlfriend!
Hard to believe that people really do not know the title of Harrison's most famous single!
I'm curious to know how she would explain the Hare Krishna prayer in there. Just a thought....

I found this post entertaining. Good point about questioning how to justify the Hare Krishna segment of the song!
It's funny what people think they hear. A friend told me about a party he was at recently where they were playing an 80's music trivia game. They sat at the table and argued for 10 minutes the lyrics to a prince song. The majority believe it went "Tonight we're gonna party like it's 1989."
