The Randomness of MS
Last night I tried to do some sit ups and other floor exercises while watching the Simpsons. I do this every night. As I was in the middle of one of my exercises complete exhaustion overtook me and I could do nothing but lie down. Eventually I made it to my bed and tried to watch a documentary on FDR when my parents called. I talked to them for a while and it was good.
Well, this morning I woke up still fairly week. I came to work with Abel and one of the ladies, Lois, asked me what was going on. I said "nothing" because they all know I have MS and there was nothing going on except that I was not walking too well. She just looked at me and asked me again so I jokingly aswered, "well, I'm walking with a cane today". Then she and another woman, Linda, both looked at me and asked if I got enough rest and if I was taking care of myself. I assured them that I did and that I even stayed in on Saturday night. So then they tried to suggest that I am feeling week because I do not eat lunch! So I assured them again that I do eat lunch I just usually stay at my desk and eat while checking email or updating my blog. So then they wanted to know what I eat. So I told them I eat a sandwich, carrot sticks and yogurt. They did not look satisfied.
So, later, Lois went to the bank and to get lunch and asked me if I wanted anything. I told her I was fine and that I have my lunch in the refrigerator. She looked concerned so I had to clarify that MS is not exacerbated because people eat yogurt and sandwiches for lunch and choose to sit at their desks to do personal stuff.
They make me laugh.
The only thing that is concerning me is that I am supposed to do the March of Dimes walk this coming weekend.

I was thinking of Abel and Rupertito (wait... is that it?) the other day. And today I was thinking when I get home I want to spruce up Mom's wheelchair. I might have to call you for some ideas! ;)
